Greetings to the Competitors! Riga
Retrospective solo exhibition Greetings to the Competitors! (Sveiciens sacensību dalībniekiem!) of sports posters designed by Zenta Dzividzinska between 1968 and 1970. The Latvian Sports Museum, Riga, Latvia, April 14—June 14, 2004.
Exhibition revisited Dzividzinska’s career as a graphic designer and featured a series of posters depicting different disciplines of sports, commissioned by the sports promotion authority. Dzividzinska produced these posters between 1968 and 1970 in collaboration with photographer Valters Jānis Ezeriņš. The uniqueness of these posters lies in the use of photo-based imagery, reflecting the artist’s lifelong commitment to the medium.
